Why I Built Two Collections
Most of what I shoot falls into two very different kinds of light. Cold, atmospheric weather that other people wait out, and the short warm window around sunrise and sunset. They ask for opposite things in the edit: one needs depth pulled out of a flat grey file, and the other needs warmth held in place before it spreads across the whole frame.
That is why there are two collections rather than one. The Moody Collection separates mist from what sits behind it and cools the colours just enough to bring the atmosphere back. The Golden Hour Collection keeps the glow where it belongs while holding on to the contrast that gives a scene its shape.
They come from the same way of working. I built both over years of editing my own photographs from around the world, from Iceland and the Alps to Madeira and Bali, and refined them for the scenes I return to most: mountains, coastlines, forests and wide open landscapes.
