These Terms & Conditions govern your use of dylanshu.com and any purchase of digital products from Dylan Shu Photography. By placing an order, you agree to these terms.
1. Who we are
This website and online store are operated by Dylan Shu Photography, based in Oegstgeest, the Netherlands.

2. Scope of these terms
These terms apply to all visitors, customers and purchasers of digital products sold through this website.
If you purchase on behalf of a business or organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these terms on its behalf.
Nothing in these terms limits any mandatory consumer rights that apply under the laws of your country.
3. Website content
All photographs, videos, text, designs, branding and other content displayed on this website are owned by or licensed to Dylan Shu Photography and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
Website content may not be copied, reproduced, sold, published or used commercially without prior written permission. Sharing a direct link to this website or its public pages is permitted.
4. Digital products
Our digital products may include Lightroom presets, preset bundles, installation files, PDF guides and other downloadable materials.
The product description, compatibility information and contents displayed on the relevant product page form part of your purchase. Please review this information before placing an order.
Purchasing a digital product grants you a licence to use it. Ownership of the product files and intellectual property does not transfer to you.
5. Orders, pricing and payment
The total price payable is displayed before you confirm your order. Payments are processed securely through the payment methods available at checkout.
An order is completed once payment has been successfully processed and you receive an order confirmation.
We reserve the right to cancel and refund an order in cases of suspected fraud, unauthorised payment, an obvious pricing error or circumstances that make delivery impossible.
6. Digital delivery
Digital products are delivered electronically after successful payment. A download link is sent to the email address entered during checkout.
You are responsible for entering a correct email address and checking your spam or junk folder. If a download link expires or does not arrive, contact info@dylanshu.com using the email address connected to your order.
Delivery begins when you choose to access or download the digital files.
7. Right of withdrawal
Consumers in the European Union and European Economic Area normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal for online purchases.
Before completing your purchase, you will be asked to expressly consent to immediate delivery of the digital product and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once you begin downloading the files.
Once the download has begun, the purchase can no longer be cancelled solely because you have changed your mind. Your consent and acknowledgement will be confirmed after purchase.
This does not affect your rights if the product is defective, incorrectly supplied or does not materially match its description.
8. Refunds and technical problems
Because digital files cannot be returned after downloading, refunds are generally not available once the download has begun.
If you receive an incorrect, incomplete or corrupted file, experience a duplicate charge or cannot access your purchase, contact info@dylanshu.com. We will make reasonable efforts to provide technical assistance, replacement files or another appropriate solution.
Where a refund, repair or replacement is required by applicable consumer law, those legal rights remain fully available.
9. Licence and permitted use
Each purchase grants one individual user a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to:
Install and use the presets on devices personally used by that individual.
Apply the presets to personal photographs.
Apply the presets to photographs created for paying clients.
Publish, print, license or sell finished photographs edited using the presets.
Adjust the preset settings to suit individual photographs and personal editing preferences.
No attribution is required when publishing finished photographs edited with the presets.
A company, agency or team with multiple editors must purchase a separate licence for each user unless written permission has been granted by Dylan Shu Photography.
10. Prohibited use
You may not:
Share, transfer, gift, sublicense or distribute the original preset files.
Resell the presets or offer them as part of another preset pack, course, membership or download.
Upload the files to shared drives, public libraries, marketplaces, forums or file-sharing platforms.
Publish or share a download link that gives another person access to the files.
Claim the presets or accompanying materials as your own creation.
Copy or modify the files for the purpose of creating and distributing a substantially derived preset product.
Your licence may be terminated if these conditions are materially breached. In that event, you must stop distributing or using any unlawfully shared copies.
11. Compatibility and results
Compatibility requirements are stated on each product page. You are responsible for checking that your software and device meet those requirements before purchasing.
Preset results vary depending on the camera, file type, colour profile, lighting, exposure, white balance and individual photograph. Example images demonstrate the intended style but do not guarantee identical results on every image.
Adobe Lightroom is a third-party product. Dylan Shu Photography is not responsible for changes made by Adobe or another third party that are outside our control. We will not knowingly describe a product as compatible when it is not.
Adobe and Lightroom are trademarks of Adobe. Dylan Shu Photography is not affiliated with or endorsed by Adobe.
12. Installation and customer responsibility
You are responsible for following the installation instructions supplied with the product, keeping backup copies of your original photographs and maintaining appropriate backups of your purchased files.
Always work on copies or non-destructive edits where possible. Dylan Shu Photography is not responsible for the loss of photographs, edits or other data caused by incorrect installation, device failure or failure to maintain backups.
13. Support and updates
Reasonable installation and product support is available through info@dylanshu.com. When requesting assistance, include the email address used for the order and a clear description of the issue.
Your purchase includes the version of the product available at the time of purchase. Future additions, major revisions or new products are not automatically included unless explicitly stated.
Any updates or remedies required under applicable consumer law will still be provided.
14. Intellectual property
All rights not expressly granted under these terms remain with Dylan Shu Photography.
Unauthorised sharing or resale may cause financial and reputational harm. We reserve the right to take reasonable action to protect our intellectual property and prevent further unauthorised distribution.
15. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded, including mandatory consumer rights.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Dylan Shu Photography is not liable for indirect or unforeseeable losses resulting from the use or inability to use a digital product.
For business customers, our total liability relating to a purchase will not exceed the amount paid for the relevant product, except where a greater limitation is prohibited by law.

Payment information is processed by the payment providers available through Squarespace and is not stored directly by Dylan Shu Photography.
17. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when our products, website or legal obligations change. The latest version will be published on this page with an updated date.
The terms that applied when you placed your order will continue to govern that purchase, unless a change is required by law or is expressly agreed with you.
18. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands.
If you are a consumer living outside the Netherlands, you retain any mandatory consumer protections provided by the laws of your country of residence.
